Disrespecting the National Anthem

Does President Obama respect the United States of America and our National Anthem? What do you do when you hear our national anthem? For most people you stop turn to face the music or face the United States Flag put your hand over your heart but not our President , he talks during our National Anthem and raises a glass to toast the Queen of England and got snubbed. The Queen of England has more respect for our National Anthem then our own president.

Watch the video and see for your self!

I don't think that President Obama was trying to be disrespectful to the United States National Anthem he just wasn't raised to be a proud American and maybe he just never heard our National Anthem before.

Worthless In Zanesville, Ohio

Police officers can be and are a very important asset to a community against crime and traffic violations and in general to keep the community safe, unless you live in Zanesville, Ohio. Some Zanesville City Police Officers are more concerned with their right to Collective Bargaining rather then enforcing the law and protecting the citizens of Zanesville, Ohio.
As some police officers in Zanesville, Ohio cry about collective bargaining and getting more pay crime is on the rise and traffic violations increase as the police presence has decreased significantly avoiding their duty as a police officer and Zanesville Police Chief Eric Lambes and Zanesville City Mayor Howard (Butch) S. Zwelling have ignored numerous complaints requesting that the police officers in Zanesville do their job in stopping speeding violators.

This is an outline of the Zanesville Police Department Major Responsibilities as defined by the Zanesville Police Department;
      Major Responsibilities:
Police Department
Provide for the enforcement and prosecution of criminal and traffic law; maintain a visible and effective means of preventing criminal activity in order to promote a safe community; maintain a jail to house prisoners awaiting court appearances and serving misdemeanor sentences issued by Municipal Court.

Wow this is very impressive if it were true but nothing is further from the truth as I will explain. I live on a street that has a set speed limit of 25 mph which is the proper speed for this location but the fact of the matter is that the average speed on this street is around 40-45 mph with the highest speed estimated at or above 65 mph.
The Zanesville Police Department has been called on several occasions for speeding on this street but nothing has been done to combat this serious problem while children play in their front yards and ride their bicycles on the sidewalks. A Zanesville Police Officer made the comment to me that he does not write traffic tickets but his presence is a deterrent for these violations (he is only a deterrent if he is in the area).

Here is the start of an article dated March 21, 2011 by the Zanesville Times Recorder as searched on Google but this article can not be found in the Zanesville Times Recorder archives but found on Google search.
Zanesville Police Department should get back to the basics ...Mar 21, 2011 ... What has happened to the Zanesville Police Department? There seems to be no traffic control in Zanesville anymore.

The City of Zanesville (COZ), the Zanesville Police Department (ZPD) and the Mayor himself has ignored telephone calls from the public to enforce the speed limits in these areas.
This is a very serious matter in this town as our citizens complaints go unanswered and are ignored time and time again by our city officials.
In 1999 while I was attending college to be a police officer it was brought to my attention that on a national average Ohio was ranked 5th in the nation for gang activity and here is the shocker (not really) Zanesville, Ohio with about 30,000 residents ranked 1st in the nation for crack cocaine activity per population.

A Zanesville Police Officer is in the forefront on collective bargaining saying that as a police officer he puts his life on the line everyday and should have the right to collective bargaining. Well yes he has that right and then again he does not in my opinion as I will explain;

Yes Police Officers do put there lives on the line everyday and the Zanesville Police Department is no exception for we are the crack capital of the United States but so do our Military and you do not hear them say I put my life on the line everyday so I deserve a raise ( they only get a raise if the United States Congress approves it). I believe that 2 out of the 4 years I served in the United States Marine Corps congress did not grant a 3% raise and you still went to Kuwait, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan etc.

If you are a Police Officer and you are worried that you may not come home to see your family tonight then go work at McDonalds, you chose that profession you knew the risk yet you did it anyway nobody forced you to be a police officer. THE FREE CANDY GIVE AWAY IS GONE!!

What do ZPD want 4% this year 2% the next year and 1% the following year (or something to that affect) and at the beginning of the fourth year the process starts all over again, it is a never ending cycle.
Even though the city is in very bad shape financially and the taxpayers are in the same boat it does not matter to the fraternal order of police (F.O.P.) It does not matter that the citizens taxes fund their salaries and can not afford these increases the F.O.P. is set on doing what the people are against.
You need to perform your duties before you can get a pay raise and ask the very people who pay your salary to buck up.
WE CAN NOT AFFORD THIS!!

The citizens of Zanesville, Ohio are broke just like the City of Zanesville and yet they want us to give more all the while we get less enforcement of the law. On my street alone the Zanesville Police could bring in no less then $2,000.00-$3,000.00 a day writing speeding tickets to violators and more over they could get a few of these idiots off the street for they a traveling 25, 30 and 40 miles an hour over the posted speed limit and yet when the police are called they fail to make a traffic stop. I am no longer able to call the ZPD when I witness these violations for I am in fear of retaliation by the ZPD for calling them 10 times a day everyday.

If a Zanesville Police Officer does not believe that this is a serious problem in this community I have 2 solutions;
    1. Park your vehicle a street over walk to my house, have a cup of coffee or two and witness these violations from my front door.
    2. Give me a video camera and I promise the ZPD that they will have all the evidence that they will need to pursue these violators.

Americans May Want This As Law of the Land

This is an email from a person sent to American Blog Dog there name will not be mention but boy I sure do like what they are saying and i think that you would agree 100%

Even if this is a longshot it's really worth sending it on because it needs to happen. Who knows, it may work!!

I have totally cleaned this e-mail from all other names, sending it to you in hopes you will keep it going and keep it clean. This is something I will fight for and I hope you all read it all the way through. You will be glad you did.

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2011

1. Term Limits.

12 years only, one of the possible options below..

A. Two Six-year Senate terms

B. Six Two-year House terms

C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

2. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.

4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

7. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Maybe it is time.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!! If you agree with the above, pass it on. If not, just delete
You are one of my 20+. Please keep it going.
